Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience including architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in microservices, domain-driven design, and distributed patterns.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and service mesh technologies.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or C# and API design.

Responsibilities

• Define microservices standards and decomposition strategies aligned with DDD.
• Modernize legacy monoliths into independently deployable services.
• Design REST, gRPC, messaging, and event streaming patterns as needed.
• Establish API contracts, schemas, and versioning for safe evolution.
• Architect resilient distributed systems with patterns like circuit breakers and retries.
• Lead platform capabilities: service mesh, API gateway, identity propagation, observability.
• Oversee CI/CD, testing, and deployment standards for high-frequency releases.
• Define observability standards: logging, tracing, and SLO-driven monitoring.
• Collaborate with security teams on zero-trust and secrets management.
• Mentor engineers and lead architecture reviews across teams.
• Evaluate new cloud-native technologies for strategic fit.
