Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned Microservices Architect to lead the design and evolution of large-scale microservices ecosystems built on modern container platforms and cloud-native stacks.

The role requires deep expertise in service decomposition, domain-driven design, and resilient, observable, secure systems at scale. Remote work is offered for a senior candidate with 12+ years of experience.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in microservices, domain-driven design, and distributed systems.
12+ years of software engineering experience with architecture focus.
Hands-on Kubernetes and cloud-native stack experience.
Proficiency in Java, Go, or C# with API design knowledge.
Experience operating high-traffic, latency-sensitive systems.

Responsibilities

Define microservices standards, boundaries, and decomposition aligned with DDD.
Modernize monoliths into independently deployable services.
Design service communication using REST, gRPC, messaging, and streaming.
Establish API contracts, governance, and versioning strategies.
Architect resilient distributed systems with circuit breakers and retries.
Define data ownership, transactional boundaries, and patterns like outbox/saga/CQRS.
Lead platform capabilities including service mesh, API gateway, and observability.
Drive CI/CD, testing, and high-frequency deployments.
Mentor engineers on best practices and anti-patterns.
