Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in microservices, domain-driven design, and distributed patterns.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh tech.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or C# and API design concepts.
• Experience in high-traffic, latency-sensitive production systems.
• Proven ability to lead architecture initiatives across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define microservices architecture standards and decomposition strategies.
• Modernize legacy monoliths into independently deployable services.
• Design service communication patterns (REST, gRPC, messaging).
• Establish API contracts, schema governance, and versioning.
• Architect resilient distributed systems with patterns like circuit breakers.
• Define data ownership, transactional boundaries, and CQRS/Saga patterns.
• Lead platform capabilities including service mesh, API gateway, observability.
• Drive performance, capacity planning, and scalable service releases.
• Define CI/CD and testing standards for high-frequency releases.
• Establish observability standards with logging and distributed tracing.
• Collaborate with security for zero-trust and secrets management.
• Mentor engineers and lead architecture reviews across teams.
• Evaluate new cloud-native technologies for strategic fit.
