Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience building production-grade enterprise applications.
• Advanced working knowledge of Java (11/17), Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating microservices architectures.
• Proven experience developing front-end applications using React; familiarity with Angular or Vue is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and Git-based workflows.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and refine scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Author secure, well-tested production code following internal standards.
• Develop responsive front-end apps using React, with attention to UX and performance.
• Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations with clear contracts.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide trade-off analyses.
• Profile and optimize performance, JVM tuning, and API throughput.
• Implement robust state management for complex front-ends.
• Develop comprehensive automated test suites (JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Cypress).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive remediation through refactoring and design documents.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and maintain documentation.
