Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned Microservices Architect to lead the design and evolution of large-scale microservices ecosystems built on cloud-native platforms. The role requires deep expertise in service decomposition, domain-driven design, distributed data management, and runtime concerns such as resilience, observability, and security at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 13+ years of software engineering experience with several years in architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in microservices design, domain-driven design, and distributed systems patterns.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh technologies.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or C#.
• Strong understanding of API design, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience operating high-traffic, latency-sensitive systems in production.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and managed services across at least one major provider.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead architecture initiatives spanning multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of large-scale microservices ecosystems built on modern container platforms and cloud-native stacks.
• Drive service decomposition and domain-driven design decisions across multiple teams.
• Address resilience, observability, and security concerns at scale in production environments.
• Provide architectural leadership with a clear point of view on when microservices are appropriate and how to evolve them safely.
• Ensure the resulting estate remains maintainable over the long term.
