Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a Capital Equipment Consultant – Microbiology to position Microbiology solutions in hospitals and reference labs. The role reports to the Regional Sales Manager, Microbiology and is a remote field sales position based from Baltimore, MD, or Washington DC.

You will drive growth, manage accounts in your territory, and craft strategies that align technical Beckman Coulter offerings with customers' clinical and financial needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of sales experience selling capital equipment into hospitals or labs.
• Master’s degree with 2 years experience in the field.
• Doctoral degree with 0 years experience in the field.
• Must be willing to travel 50%–75% and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Accurately anticipate customer needs and execute a sales strategy to become the technical vendor of choice.
• Drive growth by footprint expansion and retaining base business.
• Call on accounts in the sales territory and manage active sales cycles.
• Implement the sales plan to achieve established goals.
• Work remotely from home and visit customers in the field.
• Link Beckman Coulter Microbiology solutions to customer needs and finance considerations.
