Job summary

TEKsystems in Michigan seeks an experienced healthcare Compliance Professional to lead a team of auditors and drive regulatory compliance across Michigan healthcare programs. The role blends hands-on audits (about 75%) with leadership duties (about 25%), with remote work allowed within Michigan.

You will oversee audits, partner with stakeholders, and shape compliance processes, while ensuring adherence to Medicaid/MICH program requirements and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Michigan licensure as an RN/NP/LPN.
• Experience in auditing, quality assurance, compliance, or regulatory oversight.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with Medicaid, elderly populations, or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Experience with MiChoice and/or MICH (MiHealth Link) programs highly preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 4 auditors, providing guidance, coaching, and oversight.
• Conduct compliance audits, record reviews, participant interviews, and regulatory assessments.
• Analyze audit findings and prepare reports, recommendations, and corrective action plans.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal healthcare program requirements.
• Support the development and enhancement of audit processes, tools, and training materials.
• Present findings and collaborate with stakeholders on compliance initiatives.
• Assist with quality improvement efforts and audit program optimization.
