Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field; Materials Science or Metallurgy preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience with flat rolled products in a mill quality or operating function, or five years with outside processing or final customer use of flat rolled products.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects using PDCA and DMAIC methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Improve customer quality performance at assigned locations and develop satisfaction initiatives.
• Investigate rejected material and resolve issues with customers and mill personnel.
• Communicate problems clearly to mill teams and establish containment actions for quality concerns.
• Document results, monitor performance, and report to commercial teams; act as the Voice of the Customer.
