Job summary

KellyMitchell is seeking a Senior Metadata Management Analyst to support enterprise metadata management programs. This fully remote, contract-to-hire role within the United States requires 4+ years of metadata management experience and hands-on work with data catalogs such as Alation or Collibra.

The role focuses on operating and improving an established metadata environment, configuring workflows, and onboarding data stewards. ASAP start; W-2 only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise metadata management or data catalog platforms.
• Knowledge of metadata standards, glossaries, taxonomies, and data lineage.
• Experience with data architectures, data warehouses, and enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise metadata management and data catalog platforms, including workflows, assets, roles, and permissions.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
• Maintain metadata definitions, taxonomies, and data lineage.
• Generate and analyze metadata reports and quality metrics to identify gaps.
• Support data steward onboarding with documentation and training materials.
• Collaborate with data engineering/architecture/ quality teams to resolve issues.
