Cart.com is seeking a highly detail‑oriented Merchant of Record Accountant to own end‑to‑end MoR accounting operations across our brands. You will ensure payment processing integrity, settlements, tax compliance, and robust reconciliations in a fast‑paced e‑commerce environment.

The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, experience with payments ecosystems, and hands‑on use of Excel, SQL, and ERP platforms such as Dynamics 365 Business Central or NetSuite.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3–7 years in payments operations, merchant services, accounting, or related field within e‑commerce, SaaS, marketplace or tech-enabled services.

Aufgaben

• Own MoR accounting operations across supported brands.
• Monitor and resolve payment exceptions and large refunds.
• Perform reconciliations between payment platforms, banking activity, and GL.
• Manage tax configurations and ensure cross‑jurisdictional tax compliance.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
