Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems on moderately complex projects.

You will review drawings, specs, and addenda, perform quantity takeoffs, and run cost and value analyses to support design development and decision-making. Collaboration with design and preconstruction teams is essential to align estimates with budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in MEP estimating, design-build coordination, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Owns assigned MEP scopes and prepares detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Reviews drawings, specs, and addenda to identify scope requirements and conflicts.
• Performs cost and value analyses to support design development.
• Coordinates with design and preconstruction teams to align with project budgets and schedules.
• Develops and maintains cost databases and estimating tools.
