Job summary
A growing engineering firm is seeking a MEP/HVAC Project Manager with 3-6+ years of relevant experience to oversee project execution, client communication, and design coordination. This role requires proven experience in managing MEP and building system projects, along with AutoCAD proficiency. It offers the flexibility of 100% remote work with occasional site visits. A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred. Candidates need strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
Qualifications
3-6+ years of relevant experience.
Proven experience managing MEP and building system projects.
Strong understanding of construction and engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
Maintain working knowledge of all MEP trades and project scope.
Prepare schematic design sets for small projects in AutoCAD.
Occasionally attend site visits and inspections.
Document field conditions with notes and photos.
Lead coordination calls with clients, contractors and consultants.
Ensure uninterrupted information flow across project team.
Track DOB, FDNY, DEP, Client, and other agency processes.
Maintain project scope of work, initiating change orders.
Oversee RFIs, submittals, and field conditions.
