Job summary

BIM Synergistics LLC is seeking an MEP Detailing Manager to lead our detailing team across US projects. You will own detailing production from kickoff through fabrication-ready deliverables, manage quality control, and develop Revit detailers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on MEP detailing, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of electrical, plumbing, piping, or mechanical systems. Remote work from a private home office is supported.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on MEP detailing producing fabrication-level models and shop drawings.
Specialty in electrical, plumbing and piping, or mechanical ductwork with knowledge of other trades.
2+ years leading or mentoring detailing teams.
Proficiency in Revit fabrication parts and 3rd party plugins (eVolve MEP).
Experience with spool drawings, cut lists, and fabrication deliverables.
Proficient with Navisworks, ACC, and Bluebeam.
Understanding of constructability, sequencing, and field installation.
US-based with ability to work remotely from a home-office.

Responsibilities

Lead MEP detailing production on active projects from kickoff through fabrication and shop drawings.
Produce fabrication-level models in your specialty and mentor detailing across all MEP scopes.
Develop the detailing team, assign work, set deadlines, and provide training.
Own QC on detailing deliverables before client/fabrication shop review.
Manage the path from coordinated models to fabrication models including spool sheets and BOMs.
Drive continuous improvement: standards, templates, and workflows.
Coordinate with VDC/BIM team and resolve conflicts with clients and subs.
Monitor RFIs and model progress using ACC/Procore or similar platforms.
Oversee model production budgets and resource planning.
