Job summary

Optum Behavioral Care is seeking a compassionate telebehavioral health therapist to deliver remote care to diverse patients across the U.S. You will work with a supportive team, including supervisors and clinicians, to provide evidence-based virtual services.

The role emphasizes flexibility to work remotely, patient-focused care, and collaboration within a care team. Licensure in NM and part-time scheduling of 15–19 hours weekly are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Active, unrestricted license in New Mexico (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT or state equivalents).
• Ability to commit to 15–19 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote measurement informed care through evidence-based models of treatment.
• Monitor participant progress, follow-up communications, and care coordination notes.
• Assist participants with accessing resources, and handling consent and authorization forms.
• Identify and respond to high-risk participants following company protocols.
• Participate in supervisor meetings, training sessions, and Town Halls.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and complete annual training.
