Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is expanding its Illinois clinical presence through a fully remote role for an Illinois-licensed therapist. Clinicians will work with children, teens, and families via telehealth, with flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules and a strong emphasis on building a new, collaborative care community.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois license: LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
• Comfort with technology and virtual clinical platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-informed telehealth care to children, adolescents, young adults, and families.
• Conduct clinical intakes and develop individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
• Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
• Deliver culturally responsive care recognizing each family's unique needs.
