Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide telehealth services for children, teens, and families across Illinois. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred to support diverse communities.

This role offers part-time or full-time schedules, remote work, and a competitive pay of $45–$65 per billable hour, plus a monthly bonus and comprehensive benefits. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and deliver trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois license: LPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Commitment to trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical intakes and assessments.
• Develop client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Provide family education and care coordination.
• Deliver culturally responsive care to each family.
