Job summary

Ellie Mental Health in Northern Virginia is hiring with immediate openings for LPC or LMSW and Resident in Counseling therapists. You will evaluate and treat clients, maintain caseloads, and collaborate with a dynamic team to expand access to care, including Telehealth services.

We offer guaranteed pay for the first 4 weeks, clinical supervision by a VA state-licensed LPC at no cost, flexible hours including evenings, and a supportive leadership team focused on your growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed mental health professional or Resident in Counseling in Virginia.
• Experience with completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes.
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services in a timely manner.
• Adept at learning and navigating EHR systems.
• If planning to engage in tele-health from home, ensure a private HIPAA-compliant space.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing clinical documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and clinical case notes according to company policy.
• Maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions seen per week.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training.
• Other items of equal importance as needed.
