Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Membership Specialist II to perform complex reconciliation and enrollment data tasks. You will resolve enrollment and billing issues, use Access/Excel reports, and maintain detailed notes to manage financial risk and customer satisfaction.

This role supports members and brokers while adhering to regulatory guidelines. The position requires related accounting experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work within Pacific/Mountain/Central time

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two (2) years of recent accounting/finance/bookkeeping experience or an Associate’s Degree in accounting/finance/bookkeeping is required.
• One (1) year prior experience as Membership Analyst I or in a Premera position with reconciliation experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, resolve and document complex reconciliation discrepancies independently.
• Process refunds, transfers of premiums, reinstatements, and insufficient fund issues.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive notes on enrollment and eligibility changes.
