Job summary

A prominent educational institution is seeking a Contractor for Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning. This remote position involves reviewing and cleaning historical datasets related to patient surgeries and ensuring accuracy. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills, with opportunities to contribute to real-world healthcare improvements. You will work flexibly for approximately 84 hours and participate in regular check-ins with the Director, MEL.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in managing and cleaning data using Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with data cleaning, analysis, or research is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review historical datasets of patient surgeries and training programs.
• Migrate cleaned data into current version of templates.
• Upload cleaned data into MEL databases.
• Perform data quality checks to validate accuracy.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience with data analysis tools (SPSS, STATA, R)

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Education

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Public Health, Monitoring & Evaluation
