Sanderson Firm seeks a Medicare Coding Specialist to research, dispute, and finalize potential reimbursement obligations for clients. The role involves coordinating with Medicare entities and plan contractors, with a focus on accurate, timely, and compliant outcomes.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree and 1–3 years in a customer service or administrative role, strong communication skills, and the ability to work remotely in a fast-paced environment.

• Associates degree preferred with 1–3 years in customer service/administrative work.
• Demonstrates strong customer service skills and ability to work remotely.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel; strong written and verbal communication.

Mansioni

• Verifies eligibility for Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Part D plans.
• Verifies SSD entitlement and researches conditional payments or liens.
• Reviews correspondence to assess recovery action accuracy and disputes.
• Communicates with clients to confirm claim details and identify dispute opportunities.
• Applies medical and legal reasoning to support dispute strategies.
• Prepares and submits disputes and appeals to Medicare entities.
• Ensures timely follow-up to meet turnaround times.
• Maintains status updates with management and seeks support when needed.
• Adheres to confidentiality and company policies on safety and standards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
