Job summary

Acturhire is seeking a Medicare actuarial leader to oversee pricing, forecasting, and bid development for MA and Part D. The role is remote and requires leading end-to-end bid processes, developing pricing strategies, and delivering insights to support product, financial and growth goals.

The ideal candidate has deep Medicare bid expertise, strong actuarial and financial acumen, and proven management experience guiding analysts and influencing strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional actuarial experience.
• 6+ years with ASA; or 5+ years with an FSA.
• 1+ year of management experience.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Medicare Advantage bid development across Part C and D and oversee CMS submissions.
• Oversee forecasting, financial performance monitoring, and experience analyses.
• Develop actuarial assumptions, models, and pricing methodologies.
• Partner with cross-functional and executive stakeholders on pricing and growth.
• Monitor regulatory changes and impacts on pricing and financials.
• Drive actuarial process improvements and team development.
