Job summary

GuideWell is seeking an experienced actuary to lead Medicare pricing and risk revenue analytics, driving insights across ACA, Medicare and group lines. You will mentor actuaries and participate in rotations within cross-functional teams, influencing pricing and strategic decisions.

The role requires ASA (or FSA), a health insurance background, and strong communication, with proficiency in Excel, SAS and SQL. Remote or in-person work options available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related, progressive professional experience in health insurance analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Math/Statistics or related field.
• ASA or higher designation preferred; FSA desired.
• Must have health insurance analytics background and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, SAS and SQL is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Medicare pricing and risk revenue analytics for multiple lines (ACA, Medicare, Group, Reserves).
• Support pricing, trend analytics, gross margin reporting and financial reporting.
• Actuarial representation on cross-functional workgroups and rotations for team development.
• Mentor direct reports; manage projects and potentially people.
