Job summary

Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Rare Hematology in the New England region. The role is field-based, home-based in the Wilmington, DE area, with extensive travel to meet HCPs and KOLs.

You will support medical objectives, share scientific data, and collaborate across cross-functional teams. Requires MD/PhD/PharmD with strong communication, strategic plans, and the ability to work independently in a field setting.

Qualifications

• MD, PharmD, or PhD in biological sciences strongly preferred.
• Clinical experience in relevant therapeutic area OR track record of success as an MSL.
• Able to work independently and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• HCP relationship management and engagement planning within assigned territory.
• Gathers and disseminates HCP insights to inform medical strategy.
• Supports scientific exchange with external stakeholders and internal teams.
• Develops expertise in study design, real-world evidence, and HEOR.
