Job summary

Grifols, S.A. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to operate in a remote West region across several states. The role emphasizes scientific exchange with thought leaders, data interpretation, and communication of clinical findings to physicians and researchers.

The successful candidate will reside in the West region (CA, NV, UT, OR, WA, ID, MT, TX, NM, AZ, WY), hold an advanced degree (PhD/MD/PharmD or equivalent), and demonstrate strong relationship-building and travel-management skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required (PhD/MD/PharmD or equivalent).
• Typically requires minimum two years of related experience in clinical practice, academia, or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, strategic, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel frequently within the West region and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with KOLs through scientific exchange on emerging trends.
• Engage in one-on-one scientific discussions with therapeutic area experts to gain insights.
• Disseminate new data to inform physicians about evidence for alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency.
• Maintain current knowledge of literature, guidelines, and standards of care.
• Serve as a scientific resource to academic centers and key accounts with tailored information.
• Contribute to scientific congresses, advisory boards, and investigator-initiated research.
