Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to cover the West region (CA, NV, UT, OR, WA, ID, MT, TX, NM, AZ, WY) from a remote home base. The role focuses on alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, disseminating evidence and building relationships with thought leaders.

Requires advanced scientific degree and multiple years of related experience. The MSL will travel frequently within the region, engage with physicians and researchers, and collaborate with Medical Affairs to advance Grifols’ priorities

Qualifications

• Strong scientific and clinical background with advanced degree (PharmD/MD/PhD or advanced master's nursing).
• Minimum two years related experience in clinical practice, academia, or pharma.
• Knowledge of Grifols philosophy and policies.
• Excellent interpersonal, strategic, and communication skills.
• Ability to discuss highly technical information with academic experts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the pulmonary area.
• Engage in one‑on‑one scientific exchanges with experts to derive insights.
• Disseminate new data and clinical study information to physicians.
• Maintain current knowledge of literature, guidelines, and standards of care.
• Serve as scientific resource to academic centers and key accounts.
• Support investigators in developing investigator‑initiated protocols.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities for congresses, advisory boards and trainings.
• Conduct formal scientific presentations for healthcare audiences upon request.
• Represent Grifols Medical Affairs and communicate priorities and research interests.
• Adhere to policies and regulatory requirements with high ethical standards.
