Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for NMOSD & gMG-Rare Disease to operate across MD, DE, Washington DC, and Northern VA. This role involves partnering with TA leaders to communicate complex data, support sponsored research, and apply scientific insights to improve patient access and outcomes, in a compliant, collaborative environment.

The MSL will provide field observations, engage with healthcare partners, and implement local engagement plans aligned with Amgen's strategic goals, while

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required.
• Or masters degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Or bachelor's degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Preferred: PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO.

Responsibilities

• Support the MSL TA head and local TA lead in developing territory R&D tactics.
• Communicate accurate, clear information about Amgen science to medical professionals.
• Provide field observations to internal collaborators.
• Engage with healthcare partners to educate on clinical data.
• Develop and implement local scientific engagement plans.
• Lead project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics.
• Contribute to speaker training and updates on new data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues across the organization.

Education

Doctorate degree

Masters degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience

Bachelors degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience

Preferred: PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO
