Job summary

Datavant is seeking a quality-focused Data Entry Specialist to support medical record requests in a remote environment. You will process electronic medical records across multiple EMR systems, maintain patient confidentiality, and meet performance metrics in a high-volume setting.

Ideal candidates have at least six months of data entry experience, healthcare data familiarity, and strong attention to detail. This role offers benefits including health, vision, dental, 401k, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Six months plus Data Entry Experience.
• EMR experience in healthcare or release of information setting preferred.
• Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in high-volume environment.
• Computer skills including Windows-based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Adaptable to changing business environment and remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Enter accurate data when assigned by team lead.
• Remote processing of electronic medical records through various EMR systems as directed.
• Respond to changing priorities with minimum supervision.
• Report technical difficulties as soon as they occur.
• Meet metrics for the role – CPH (Charts Per Hour) & Attendance.
• Participate in all training assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.
• Follow written instructions to ensure compliance and accurate completion of tasks.
• Escalate security or site issues to team lead or management.
• Support a service environment focused on quality processes.
• Ensure deadlines are met and respond to requests timely.
• Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
