micro1 is seeking Medical Records Coders (CCS / CIC / CPC) for a remote US contract project. You will annotate and review medical records, assign ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT codes, and ensure alignment with Official Guidelines.

Strong attention to detail and clear written/verbal communication are essential. Active AHIMA credentials are preferred, with experience across acute care, outpatient, ED, and physician practice settings.

Qualificações

• Active AHIMA CCS, CIC, or CPC credential required or preferred.
• Hands-on coding with ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and CPT.
• Experience across acute care, outpatient, ED and physician practice.

Responsabilidades

• Annotate and review medical records ensuring correct ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and CPT codes.
• Identify principal/secondary diagnoses and apply modifiers per guidelines.
• Flag documentation gaps and query opportunities with stakeholders.
• Collaborate via written and verbal communication to clarify requirements.
• Deliver high-quality coding annotations to support AI training data.
