Qualifications

• Minimum three years' analysis, research and/or medical coding experience.
• Minimum two years' medical record review experience.
• Knowledge of EMR systems or electronic data sources.
• HL7, FHIR knowledge preferred.
• Risk and Quality concepts related to Medicare Advantage/ ACA populations preferred.
• Visio or flowcharting software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with the process of sending medical records.
• Assists with risk adjustment analytics and/or medical coding activities.
• Collaborates with internal departments, medical offices, and copy service vendors.
• Develops and maintains tools to aid retrieval efforts and resolves road blocks.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities.
• Retrieves, analyzes, coordinates, monitors and reports on medical records for chart retrieval success.
