Job summary

Lilly is seeking a remote Medical Physicist Advisor to apply nuclear medicine physics in radiopharmaceutical imaging and therapy RPT development, with a focus on preclinical and translational dosimetry.

Responsibilities include leading in-house RLT analysis tool development, QC workflows, and cross-functional collaboration to meet regulatory expectations while enabling scalable imaging platforms.

Qualifications

• PhD in Medical Physics, Nuclear Physics, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Expertise in SPECT image reconstruction and quantitative SPECT imaging.
• Experience in radiopharmaceutical dosimetry (organ/voxel methods).
• Experience developing or validating scientific software or quantitative imaging workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and validation of in-house RLT analysis tools (image reconstruction, dosimetry, calibration).
• Provide quantitative imaging and dosimetry to rank candidate radioligands.
• Develop imaging/dosimetry methods for preclinical RPT studies and translational dosimetry.
• Own validation strategy for tools ensuring reproducibility and regulatory alignment.
• Lead scanner qualification and performance characterization for PET/SPECT imaging.
