Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Collections Specialist with medical collections experience to join our Revenue Cycle team. You will manage payer portfolios, research denials, and help move invoices to settlement while upholding compliance and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in Medical Insurance Collections.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of payers to ensure collections, aging, and denials are processed in a timely fashion.
• Process at least 5 claims per hour.
• Assist with billing efforts, eliminate denials, and keep payer rules up to date.
• Perform month-end reconciliations and support other departments.
• Meet daily, monthly, and quarterly collection goals and maintain compliance.
