Job summary

ProPharma is seeking a Medical Information Specialist to join the Medical Information Contact Center. The MIS handles requests from healthcare professionals and consumers, provides compliant medical and safety information, and documents adverse events and product complaints in accordance with SOPs and regulations.

The role requires a nursing degree (RN/BS/BA/MS) in the US or Canada, excellent communication, strong medical knowledge, ability to work independently and in a team, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
• English language proficiency and ability to write clearly in the target language.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and regulations.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail within timeframes.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Responds to requests for medical and safety information from HCPs and consumers by various channels.
• Provides labeled/unlabeled information in compliance with regulations and SOPs.
• Identifies and reports adverse events, pregnancy reports, and product complaints.
• Ensures tasks meet deadlines per SOPs and client requirements.
• Writes responses using approved data and literature; logs inquiries in systems.
• Maintains quality checks on adverse events and correspondence.
