Job summary

ProPharma Group is seeking a Medical Information Specialist to support its client pharmaceutical projects. The MIS will handle inquiries, provide compliant medical information, and document adverse events and product concerns across multiple channels.

The role requires a life science degree, strong English communication skills, and proficiency with medical terminology and data systems. Hybrid work options and collaboration with a global team are available.

Qualifications

• Life science degree and excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to write fluently in English for role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, regulations and industry standards.
• Strong cognitive abilities including verbal reasoning, critical thinking and analytical ability.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Medical Information service delivery.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical and safety information via phone, email, mail, and meetings for ProPharma’s clients.
• Provide labeled and unlabeled medical/safety information responses per regulatory requirements and SOPs.
• Identify, document and report adverse events, pregnancy reports, special situations, and product complaints.
• Log inquiries accurately in the Inquiry Handling System and perform quality checks.
• Provide after-hours coverage on a rotated basis.
• Adhere to privacy, safety policies and data handling regulations.
