Oliver James Group is seeking a Medical Economics Analyst to join its Value-Based Care team. The role focuses on assessing new VBC opportunities and monitoring existing risk arrangements through healthcare claims and utilization data.

In this fully remote position, you will forecast trends, identify drivers of cost and performance, and influence risk-contract decisions and clinical interventions within a growing healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• Healthcare analytics, Medical Economics, actuarial or Value-Based Care experience.
• Healthcare claims and eligibility data experience.
• Exposure to Value-Based Care, provider risk, ACOs, capitation or shared-savings arrangements.
• Experience across Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and/or Commercial populations.
• Strong SQL capability.

Responsibilities

• Assess new VBC opportunities and monitor performance of existing risk arrangements.
• Work with healthcare claims and utilization data to understand medical-cost performance.
• Forecast future experience and identify drivers of emerging trends.
• Support decisions that influence risk-contracts, financial performance and clinical interventions.
• Provide analytical insights to guide value-based care strategies.
