Job summary

Trillium is seeking a Medical Economics Analyst II to join our Finance team from a remote location within North Carolina. The role focuses on analyzing rate trends, identifying key financial drivers, and communicating insights to stakeholders across the organization.

Ideal candidates will have healthcare analytics experience, proficiency in Excel and coding, and the ability to work with payer data. This exempt position offers strong benefits and growth within a mission-driven MCO environment.

Qualifications

  • Six years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics, with Excel or coding experience.
  • Four years with an Associate's degree in healthcare analytics or medical economics, including Excel or coding experience.
  • Two years with a Bachelor's degree in healthcare analytics or medical economics, including Excel or coding experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement payer analytics and economics strategies around provider rates.
  • Analyze behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data using Excel, SQL, Access, and other sources.
  • Utilize industry trends and Medicaid fee schedules to drive decision-making and insights.
  • Prepare presentations and collateral to support rate initiatives.
  • Participate in rates process improvement projects and share findings.
  • Provide technical training and support to team members.
