Alliance Health seeks an Associate Medical Director to provide clinical oversight and help develop service criteria and standards of care for care management and requests for services.

This role is primarily remote with occasional on-site attendance; candidates in North Carolina or willing to relocate are preferred, and weekend or holiday work may be required based on operational needs. You will review approvals and contribute to UM/QM/CM processes.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with residency in psychiatry and at least four years of postgraduate clinical experience.
• Current, active North Carolina medical license or ability to obtain one; board-certified in Psychiatry.
• Two or more years of managed care and utilization management experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with development of service criteria and standards of care
• Review approvals/denials ensuring protocols are followed
• Support UM/QM/CM processes and peer reviews
• Provide staff consultation and training
• Develop staff and promote a compliant, inclusive environment
