Job summary

360X Staffing is seeking a Physical Health Medical Director to provide clinical oversight, medical expertise, and operational support within the Medical Management Team in Charlotte, NC. The role emphasizes utilization management, high-quality reviews, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include authorizing services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to process improvements while supporting care coordination and external engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and board certification in a relevant field.
• Active North Carolina medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least four years of postgraduate clinical experience and two+ years in managed care/utilization management.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and medical review for physical health services.
• Authorize services and determine appropriate level of care.
• Ensure qualityUtilization management activities and compliance with standards.
• Participate in internal reviews of inpatient/outpatient cases and regulatory reviews.
• Support clinical operations through committees and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Engage in mediation and regulatory processes as needed.
• Offer training and guidance to staff and partners.
