Job summary

Foundation Medicine, Inc. seeks a Medical Director, Precision Oncology to lead internal strategy and external ambassadorship for complex medical science across national commercial accounts.

You will educate external partners, develop messaging with medical opinion leaders, and collaborate cross-functionally while traveling up to 65% to FMI headquarters and key events. Qualifications

• MD in oncology with subspecialty training and board certification.
• 5+ years directly relevant experience in oncology.
• Demonstrated ability to educate, engage and mentor medical stakeholders.
• Strong track record of senior leadership to external audiences including academia and industry.
• Understanding of oncology ecosystem and precision medicine and genomic testing.

Responsibilities

• Attend and present at FMI events, grand rounds, and conferences as FMI representative.
• Contribute medical ambassadorship to partnerships across Medical, Clinical and BioPharma customer segments.
• Design and deliver medical educational content for external partners where advanced medical expertise is essential.
• Partner with key medical opinion leaders to develop messaging, slides, and speaker prep for precision oncology.
• Serve as cross functional subject matter expert to internal teams.
