Job summary

PRECISION AQ in the United States is seeking a Medical Director to lead content development for payer-focused medical communications. The role requires independent strategy input, cross-functional collaboration, and high-quality output across therapeutic areas.

You will supervise 2–4 writers, ensure scientific accuracy, and align with regulatory guidelines. A BA/BS in life sciences and 5–7 years in medical communications are expected, with an advanced life sciences degree preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in life sciences required.
• 5–7 years of experience in medical communications/pharma/healthcare.
• Ability to translate complex scientific concepts for managed care audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication; AMA style proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop high-quality, medically accurate content across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet client objectives and timelines.
• Review briefs, assign staff, and participate in kickoff meetings.
• Ensure content accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Liaise with clients on strategy and content matters with M/LR review as needed.
• Oversee 2–4 writers; develop team members' growth plans.
• Support new business proposals and pitches.
