Jade Biosciences seeks an experienced Medical Director to lead nephrology programs, focusing on rare or immune-mediated kidney diseases. This physician-scientist thrives in a small, agile biotech, collaborating across functions. Remote role with travel, reporting to the Executive Medical Director of Clinical Development.

The Medical Director will design and oversee trials, act as Medical Monitor, and coordinate with regulatory and biometrics teams to ensure enrollment and compliance.

Qualifications

• MD (or equivalent medical degree) with nephrology board certification preferred.
• 3+ years as a nephrologist in academia or industry, and/or nephrology clinical trial experience.
• Experience in clinical trial design, execution, and medical monitoring.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and scientific rigor.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, execution, and oversight of nephrology clinical trials, including protocol development and data interpretation.
• Serve as Medical Monitor ensuring patient safety and scientific integrity.
• Collaborate with regulatory, operations, and biometrics teams to ensure trial success and compliance.
• Educate clinical sites and investigators to support enrollment and answer questions about eligibility and safety.
• Represent Jade Biosciences at scientific meetings and advisory boards.
