Job summary

Medpace is seeking a Nephrologist-Medical Director to provide medical, scientific and strategic leadership for the planning, execution, and reporting of clinical trials in a dynamic team.

The role also serves as the internal medical expert for review, presentation, and interpretation of results in the Clinical Study Report, and involves developing new clinical projects including study design and project plans. Hybrid WFH flexibility with potential for fully remote work for the right experience.

Qualifications

• Must have an M.D. with Nephrology specialization.
• Must be eligible to obtain a medical license.
• Board certification preferred; prior clinical trial experience preferred; pharma-related research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical management and expertise for clinical trials.
• Contribute medical expertise to study reports, regulatory documents, and manuscripts.
• Manage safety issues in clinical trials and coordinate evaluation of trials with team members.
• Participate in new business development through involvement in proposals and sponsor meetings.
• Coordinate with other departments across all study phases including feasibility, design, and medical document review/editing.
• Lead adherence to study-related protocols and policies.
