Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Medical Director, Medical Affairs, to provide medical oversight, scientific guidance and clinical expertise across assigned studies in a REMOTE US role.

You will serve as Medical Monitor for clinical trials, contribute to protocol development and safety reviews, mentor colleagues, support sponsor engagement and ensure regulatory compliance to drive successful patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of medical monitoring experience in clinical research or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, clinical development, safety processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience reviewing safety data and managing serious adverse events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Proficiency in English.
• Valid passport and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight and serve as the assigned Medical Monitor for clinical research studies.
• Lead global and pan-regional trials as a Global Lead Medical Monitor with consistent medical guidance across study teams.
• Review and support medical management of serious adverse events with Medical & Safety teams.
• Deliver protocol-specific and therapeutic area training to project teams for high-quality study execution.
• Contribute clinical and scientific expertise to study protocols and development programs.
• Support sponsor engagement, feasibility assessments, proposal development and client meetings.
• Review and contribute to clinical study reports and other key study documentation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and high client satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop medical colleagues while staying updated on therapeutic areas.
