Job summary

Rho Inc, a forward‑looking CRO, is hiring a Medical Director in General Medicine. You will provide medical, clinical, and scientific advisory expertise across Immunology, Pain Management, Neurology, and Respiratory to project teams and senior management.

You will review trial safety, ensure ethical trial design, support regulatory input, and contribute to medical monitoring and feasibility. Remote location in the United States is supported; level depends on expertise.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school with an active license.
• 5+ years in clinical medicine and 5+ years in clinical development (pharma preferred).
• Strong understanding of trial design, biostatistics, and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across external partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Advisor on assigned projects.
• Provide medical support to investigative sites and project staff for protocol issues.
• Review and clarify trial-related Adverse Events and coding.
• Perform medical review of SAEs and patient narratives.
• Review the protocol, IDB, and Case Report Forms for medical quality.
• Review CSR and safety summaries; guide clinical strategy.
• Advise Project Managers on medical and scientific aspects.
• Contribute to Medical Monitoring in proposals and budgeting.
• Support feasibility and business development with medical input.
