Job summary

Rho is actively seeking a Medical Director in General Medicine, offering a role that spans medical advisory, clinical development, and regulatory input across multiple therapeutic areas. You will influence trial design, safety reviews, and scientific integrity while collaborating with diverse project teams.

You will contribute medical expertise to client proposals, development strategies, and external stakeholder engagement, with potential for leadership as the role can be remote nationwide.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and active medical license in good standing.
• 5+ years in clinical medicine beyond residency and 5+ years in clinical development.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and biostatistics.
• Knowledge of federal drug development regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Advisor on assigned projects.
• Provide medical support to investigative sites and project staff for protocol-related issues.
• Review and clarify trial-related Adverse Events and coding.
• Perform medical review of Serious Adverse Events and narratives.
• Review protocols, IDB, and Case Report Forms for medical content.
• Review CSR, patient narratives, and safety/efficacy documents.
• Provide medical input to project proposals and budgeting.
• Support BD activities with medical input for RFPs and sponsor meetings.
