UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a part-time Administrative/Clerical coder to join the Coding Quality & Integrity team. You will perform retrospective outpatient coding using ICD-10-CM and CPT, ensuring compliance with Official Coding Guidelines and LCD/CCI edits.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years acute hospital coding experience, and professional certifications such as RHIA/RHIT/CCS/COC/CPC/CPC-H. On-site in Texas location preferred.

Qualificações

• 3 years of acute hospital-based coding experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for coding retrospective outpatient accounts using ICD-10 CM and CPT, in compliance with Official Coding Guidelines and LCD/NCD edits.
