Qualifications

• Minimum coding certifications required as listed above.
• High school diploma with CPC or CCS-P preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review complex clinical documentation and diagnostic results to assign codes (ICD-10-CM, CPT) and modifiers for services.
• Work with insurance and government payers to obtain retroactive authorizations for surgical services.
• Adhere to organization policies including Quality Assurance, Remote Work, and Productivity guidelines.
