Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HIM or related field, or 2 years coding experience with diploma as substitute.
• CPC/CCA/CCS-P certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assigns diagnosis and procedure codes to encounters per coding guidelines.
• Code moderately complex cases and resolve routine discrepancies.
• Review work queues and collaborate to improve documentation quality.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines for accurate reimbursement.
