• Active AAPC or AHIMA coding credential required.
• Experience with CPT/ICD, CMS guidelines, payor billing.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office and EHR software.

Responsabilidades

• Assign ICD and CPT codes for facility or professional reimbursement and statistics.
• Abstract clinical information from medical records for documentation.
• Stay current with coding trends and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure accurate coding.
• Review denials and assist with edits as needed.
