Qualifications

• Experience coding CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM across 1–4 specialties.
• Ability to calculate ProFee and Facility E/M levels using internal algorithms.
• Pro Fee inpatient coding for hospitalists and various specialties.
• Identify critical care cases by patient acuity.
• Apply ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes accurately.
• Understand documentation's impact on reimbursement and follow AHIMA standards.
• Work-from-home capability with a reliable internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Provide various components of coding services to support clients.
• Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels by using company algorithms.
• Code ProFee inpatient charts for hospitalists and specialties.
• Recognize critical care cases by patient acuity.
• Apply ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes to highest specificity.
• Accurately apply codes using ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Interpret coding guidelines for accurate code assignment.
• Align conduct with AHIMA Standards and Company ethics.
• Comply with internal policies and procedures.
• Participate in company training and education.
• Maintain privacy and security per PHI rules.
• Work with EMR and Billing systems; have phone and internet.
