Job summary

Capital Health seeks a Professional Coder (FT, remote) to review and assign CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM codes for professional claims. You will ensure accurate documentation, apply AMA/CMS conventions, and support correct E/M coding and reimbursement.

The role requires CPC/CPC-A or CCS-P certification, high school diploma, and 2 years' physician coding experience. Remote, 40 hours/wk with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification CPC-A, CPC or CCS-P required.
• Two years' physician coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes for professional claims.
• Apply AMA and CMS conventions for coding accuracy and reimbursement.
• Ensure appropriate E/M codes and accordance with guidelines.
